I always fight against vandalism. I mainly focus on Indian football related articles and keep them vandalism free. Few minutes ago, I reverted incorrect and vandalism from an article.  :) S A H 12:52, 12 January 2020 (UTC)

User:William Harris

I have been using Twinkle for a number of functions over the past few years, including its rollback function. Recently at Dingo I was in a situation where I would have preferred the Rollback facility's edit summary, which would have read "Reverted edits to last version by User B" without indicating the IP name who made the edit, possibly then avoiding the reverted user to take offence and resort to the sockpuppet incident which followed. My intention is to use either tool depending on the situation. William HarrisCanis lupis track.svgtalkCanis lupis track.svg 06:26, 17 January 2020 (UTC)

Hi William Harris, this request is tricky to answer, since you are clearly an experienced, trustworthy user, yet seem to lack the required "measurable track record of counter-vandalism". Feel free to prove me wrong by providing 10 diffs of edits that you could have also made using rollback, per WP:ROLLBACKUSE. Additionally, the request reason may be based on a misunderstanding: Rollback does trigger the same revert notification (Echo/Ping) as Undo and Twinkle do. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 04:53, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
You are correct that I am not a dedicated vandal fighter as are most editors here, but I do come across it from time to time. I am not sure how I would even start looking to find those reverts. How the revert notifications work was my misunderstanding of WP:ROLLBACK How it works. I withdraw my application, please feel free to "reject" or whatever the process is, and thanks for your time. No worries, but I'll wait for a second administrator to close this request in case I have overinterpreted the requirements. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 05:37, 24 January 2020 (UTC)

I've been patrolling vandalism using Twinkle for quite a few months now in both enwiki and eswiki, and so I would like to request Rollback permission to do more serious patrolling. (Request only for enwiki) agucova (talk) 00:34, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

I have been reverting vandalism and spam for a few months now, and I've been recommended to apply for rollback rather than continue to use WP:TW. This is my second request, but I have much higher edit count now. N0nsensical.system(err0r?)(.log) 09:31, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

Hi, I'm an extended confirmed user with around 700 edits in the main space. Recently I have dedicated my wikitime to add citations to some pages. I revert vandalism manually and I would like to have rollback permision to do it easily. Thank you. Alexcalamaro (talk) 19:30, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

User:Movies Time

Hi. This is my third request for permission for this user right. I'm an extended confirmed user with around 2,300 edits; a pending changes reviewer; a recent changes patroller; and also using Twinkle to fight vandalism. I decided to take another shot for this request because I fight against vandalism to have a clean Wikipedia. I would like to make this request to make it simple. Thanks!!! Movies Time (talk) 12:13, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
Not done You are not warning any editors you're reverting. If you're reverting anything other than obvious vandalism, include an edit summary as to why. Not granting at this time. Feel free to reapply once you understand rollback policy. qedk (t c) 12:11, 27 January 2020 (UTC)

I've been a dedicated vandalism fighter on Wikipedia. I sometimes patrol recent changes to check for vandalism and revert when appropriate with warning. My request is to use more advanced tools like STiki and Huggle, other than the regular Twinkle. This is actually my second request to obtain this user right, because it was declined when I very much new to Wikipedia. NNADIGOODLUCK (Talk|Contribs) 05:49, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
